Born in 1887, Tony
Lama was an Italian immigrant who learned the art of boot making at
a young age. He served in the United States Cavalry as a cobbler,
and later opened a boot repair shop in El Paso, Texas. Cavalrymen,
ranchers, and cowboys came from miles around to buy Tony Lama"s
renowned western boots. Still today, Tony Lama Boots Company is
known for creating the best fitting, most comfortable boots
possible.
